Wow what a lucky little Snowy I've got a citron crested cockatoo called Snowy. Your Snowy looks like a girl the first photo snowys eyes look brown rather than black for a boy but then again I might be wrong Smile

I never like the thought of plucking to have them sexed so never have with any of my greys. At least with too's its a little easier though by the eye colour! Yep even if he is a she, I don't think he/she cares much as to what he's called! lol I know a little parakeet who is most definitely a boy but always calls himself a 'good girl' who are we to stop him!! lol Smile

A Brollie Laughing

I love all birdies, All of the above birdies are lovely and all have their problems too! it does really depend on the nature of the bird you get as to which bird is best with kids to be honest!

i really like brollies. we went to see Monty Moo at allpetz in bolton. and it was amazing. very cuddly parrot needs a lot of attention.
i really want another tame parrot like snowy so i think a grey is last on the list. few people have told me almost all brollies are tame. i've only ever seen one which is the one at allpetz.

All Too's need lots of attention. All birds will bite if they feel as if they must too!

They will sit all day and be cuddled, but again not all are cuddly, depends on their personality. There are so many in rescues needing homes too...have you filled out a form on the main site for rehoming?

Greys are great, again, some are independant, some are cuddly, most are great talkers and all are so very entertaining!

there are owners of all three on this site so ask the questions and you will get honest answers.

Is the U2 at Allpetz a rescue bird? Again birds in pets shops I don't like. Any pets in pet shops I don't like.

My friend had a brollie from a baby, spent all day in her cage, too small a cage because the then said friend wouldn't have a bigger one in the lounge. Then she swapped it for a dog because she screamed for the attention that she got when she was a baby that she wasn't getting now!!!! Needless to say friend is an ex friend now.
