The Hambleton 8 came and .....went!! Lots of issues with it! Bought it brand new and it turned out not to be the one they advertise in the photo's of their brochure!!! Anyways Tuppence ended up with the Liberta Endeavor instead (a big double for her to play in lol) Hambleton 8 Th_004_zpsc0a9cab0 In the background you can see Tuppence's cage on the left and Henni's is on the right Smile

How do you find the Liberta Endeavour ?
I was researching these cages and seemed a very competative price,
but after talking to other bird owners, I was informed that the welds often fail, and someone I know has a greenwing and while at work the bird removed the door by by the hinges.
And so my Liberta Endeavour quest was then stopped and I opted for a Rainforest Nova 1 from Scarletts, which is a strong well made cage, all ready and waiting for a B & G, which is due tomorrow via Shell.

The cage is fine it's fit for purpose and I inspected the entire cage panels bolts welds trays etc as I assembled it. Locks are fine and fit for purpose too I have zero issues with this cage its nice and roomy even if I dont have the centre panel in it as I got it for one bird not two. The peeps at Liberta couldn't have been more helpful if they had tried even emailed to double check I was happy with my purchase.

Thank you for your speedy reply, I wish I had "spoken" to you earlier, as I really like the dimensions of those cages. And would have purchased one. Oh well I like the Nova, and my soon too be rescue bird won't be caged much anyway. Smile

But I dont have a green-wing in it so not really relevant. Have read that their beak psi is somewhere between 1500-2000, there are not many welds that will take that amount of pressure before giving way.
