Hi all I got pointed to this site a week or so ago but been distracted so not written until now. I'm really interested in the fostering/adoption of our little feathered friends! However I understand there will be process's to go through and such so what's what? I'd like to know everything about this before I go and put my money towards some site I've never come across before. Smile

Hello, welcome to the site.

The process is straight forward. We promote what birds are available on our facebook page so no money needs to be parted with to see what comes up. There is a welfare hub on this forum and anyone who is interested in adopting, becoming a welfare officer or safe-house needs to register on there. Application forms are on the main site and this involves you informing us of your experience and interests in bird welfare. A further home check document is completed with prospective applicant and a member of the PP team. A one off lifetime membership fee is requested of £30 to gain access to the welfare hub. If a bird is match to you for adoption an adoption fee will be requested depending on the bird. We always consider the needs of the birds so they will only be re-homed at our discretion. I hope that helps Techtu? On the welfare hub monthly bank statements are published for all to see what is being done with the funds and all welfare hub members have access to this information.
