Hiya
Just wanted to pop in and say hello as im new, as you can see my name is Nicci, I have 2 african greys Declan and Charlie, and a little budgie Ted whos not to well at the min, he has problems with his leg and the vet seems to think its something to do with his air sacs, but wont be sure without a x ray, im reluctant to have this done due to Teds age, so at the min we are trying Metacam with the hope that it reduces the inflamation. My other 2 boys are both rescue birds, I used to be a big part of a rescue charity, and now am happy to be apart of Birds-First-parrot-rescue Very Happy

I have experiance with all kinds of birds, and if I can help with any of the subjects then I will, i miss parrot forums so am glad I have found this one

Hi welcome, sorry to hear about little Ted, hope he goes on okay.
We have a budgie called Budge, must be 10yrs old who has had problems which seemed to be related lack of iodine in his diet, hopefully we have sorted it as he's well again now.

Do let us know how he gets on. How old is he?
