Margy what beautiful photos. I can see you all had a lovely day, and the childrens happy faces - the look of wonder at the birds. Excellent, a day they will never forget.

Re: Photo's of the parrot day today!
Ooo what loverly photos. It was a fabulous day, the birds were gorgeous and so well behaved. Milo was funny, he found a 'guide dog cage', climbed up and held court and every so often tried to pull the big poster stands down Until Shell caught him, that is. Mica was gorgeous, so tiny and funny, and kept teasing Milo (guess who won). Later at Margy's after racing round the aviary, Mica went into the travel cage and hid under the papers at the bottom. Whilst Margy's gorgeous naughty ones who'd been wonderful all morning went for an afternoon nap (so as not to chase everyone)
Although Kai Lani couldn't come out (cos she'd've flown off) she did her special thing and chatted to everyone and entertained the kids (and adults) with her singing and couinting, so tuneful, doh! Aries met Tats, Kai's friend and they liked each other, which all bodes well cos Tat's is coming to stay on holiday soon, hurray! (I'll need eyes in the back of my head)
It was lovely to see Mandy's baby ammie, so snuggly (I love the smeill of ammies) and Sonny Jim, what can I say, he's so gorgeous. And CJ, Mandy's granddaughter is a delight.
In fact it was great to see everyone, love birdie talk and birdie days. Shell and Steve, you came such a long way and made the day special. And, thanks Margy for making it possible it was a great success.

Hi Scarlett
We had Steve, Shell, Mandy, Sue, Charles and of course, me!
Birdies were Milo, Greenwing macaw, Mika, Hahn's Macaw(a mouse in disguise Les said, he couldn't take any photo's that weren't blurred 'cos she was never still!), Kai Lani and Aries, CAG's, Tats, CAG, Tinks and Poppi, YTC's, Sonny Ekkie, Baby ammie, 10 weeks and utterly gorgeous(if anyone is looking to add to their flock, still for sale).
We had a great day and I'm definately having a very lazy day today!

Re: Photo's of the parrot day today!
haha, typical mini macaw, always on the go!
Sounds like a great day.
I`m preparing for Sky and Meadow coming later on, the neighbours 2 Budgies. They`re coming for a week. They already know Harley so they`re living in the lounge away from the big beaks but where they`ll get to see us in the evening and Harley through the day when he`s in there playing.
I`ve got egg food ready to try them on, a new Olympic Ring toy, some redcurrants which were in Tesco and alsorts.
Quite looking forward to having some really small birds for a change!

Loved looking at your pics of your fun day and it looks as if a lot of young children were involved? They are the parrot keepers of the future and bet a lot of them will be taken with you all and your birds and hopefully build plans for keeping their own parrots in the future once "grown up" It is so good to plant the seeds now I am thinking. Good luck to you all.
