Hi I am looking for a tube heater for the birdroom as I don't feel good about the heater im useing.

Do they need a heater? If the rooms in the house it wouldn't get that cold? I don't have the heating on in my bird room at all

its a room we built on the side of the house I only want the heater for when weather temps really drop so that it never go's -

ive orderd 2 3foot ones just waiting for them to arrive. the temp in the room has not dropped below 12 so far . I have brought cookie back in as he has got no downy feathers a few plucked big ones .

sounds like you have a good plan Smile I keep a close eye on the room humidity when i have the heaters on too dry and those feathers crack out of their sheathing too quick plus with plucked ones you have to watch their skin so they don't get too itchy tickly

i would think humidity in there should be fine as i jetwash in there every day, but thanks for that bit of info will keep an eyeon it.

its a me and a Henni plucking thing lol she only has to wink at me in an odd way and I have a hissy-fit nervous breakdown ROTFL if your jetwashing in there your totally correct there will be enough humidity in the air Smile
