Re: hello
WELL Sharon its a very long story lol. i was the founder of a large parrot education rescue, been working in china at nanning zoo. also im married to a chinese woman that looks after nearly 3000 birds at nanning zoo. i used to lecture on parrot Husbandry and nutrition. now i dont have any birds and dont think i want any again. but i would always help people with problem birds. and education of people on how to look after there birds has all ways been what i did. there just a little bit about me. but if you ask im sure people will add to that good and bad i dont care aslong has the birds are ok i dont care 2 sh--its about the people. and if that affends people i dont care. O i forgot i dont like people just animal lol

Re: hello
Fair enough. Must say I have alot more respect for my dogs and 6 parrots than I do for alot of people. As you say, we are here to sort out the problem birds and owners(LOL!)
Great you know loads about nutrition. It is something people really need to get right before they address other contributing factors of parrot (mis)behaviour. I converted all of mine to Harrisons late last year. I had hoped it would help one particular chap - Norman - a CAG I fostered 2 and a half years ago. He is still as nutty as ever though, and still feels the need to have a little chew at his near side flight feathers when the world gets too much for him. I can rest assured that he is getting very good nutrition though which is one less thing to worry about...........Little bu**er is chasing Jasper Jardine around the floor yelling " Cum 'eer!" He is a real character. VERY demanding but I love him.
Nice to have you on board.

Yes nice to have you onboard indeed. Your knowledge will be most welcome! I often think animals are much easier to get on with than people, which is why I am surrounded by them and have hardly any visitors!

Re: hello
You are definitely amongst animal lovers on this forum
I agree they are much nicer than a lot of people. Prime example today then with those scumbags (too good a word really) hurting and killing the birds & fish in todays news.
