Contact John Hayward of the UK PS Lost , Found & Stolen Register, with luck he will be able to trace the owner.
Tel: 01869 325699 or you can e-mail him on jh@ntr.supanet.com

You are doing well, we all keep a variety of birds and many have Macaws so I'm sure someone will be offering advice.
Hope you can soon trace it's owner. why type of Macaw is it i.e. colouring.

I think you are doing extrodinary well! A macaw is a BIG bird, especially if you are not used to parrots at all. I have no macaw experience at all, surely someone will be around to help you soon, but one question popped in my head; What type of tree branch are you using for it to perch on? Some plants and trees are dangerous/poisonous for them.
