Suggestion

As we all spend lots of money sending Christmas cards and pressies to like minded parrot friends, why not make a donation to the Island Parrot Sanctuary instead, and then just wish your friends Seasons Greetings on the forum or by personal email??

That`s a great idea, even just a pound goes a long way to The Sanctuary.

I think people are always scared that the person might not do the same back so you`ll receive a card or a gift from someone but not send them one.
In this day and age I think it should be easy to agree with someone that there`s nothing you really want, cards are nice but the same every year, but a bird at The Island would benefit from some treats, a new toy etc.

I've already bought mine and ordered some too, I'm afraid that I really like to give cards, anytime and to recieve but...........I'll send a donation and of course a great big box of goodies for Dewy, John Boy and their aviary mates!

This next week I shall be sending a box of chocs for Yvonne & Donna also a donation for the sanctuary.

I've just got a huge bag of goodies for the kids at gym from them, feathers, lollipops and sweeties!

Also lots of photo's of the birdies at the sanctuary, so nice of them!
