Hi everyone, I'm come over from another rescue as I have a Problem Parrot!!! ok ok I mean I'm the one causing the problem but I have a parrot too only the one mind, he's an African Grey called Jasper or Jaspot as he calls himself he's 18 months old now and until yesterday was ruling the roost!! Thanks to Shell who came miles to see my troublemaker, I now know where I was going wrong and am now beginning the long road to get back on track. So back to basics and I'm teaching him to 'Step Up' - yep I thought he knew this command, only he only stepped up when he wanted so now its getting him to carry out commands when asked to and not just when he wants, omg I been such a push over for the last 13 months!!!! Anyways poor Shell is now hated by Jasper, so that'll be another one to your foe list Shell lol. Well that's me, I'm Jenny by the way, nice to meet you all

Hiya, yep from another rescue and from Harley's diary (Scarlett) I just never registered til now as I wanted to read through other posts and now I can start on this one, yey , does anyone know how if there is a way to view just unread posts?

I was going through a tricky stage of being flew at and chewed (nicer way of putting it lol), a clip later and I've got a different birdie, so now I can put in some ground rules and training and fingers crossed a happy birdie and a happy owner.

Yep Steve you will have met me at the show last year, I prob looked a bit dazed and scared lol - didnt know what to expect at first, especially as members of the public asked questions and I was like erm....errr....erm not sure lol and it poured it down but all the members were great and very kind. I think I remember who you are but not 100% as I'd not met anyone til that day, i'm rubbish at putting names to faces lol.

Been having a nosey through the forums and it looks fab, I want my name in pink now so i'll have to get posting lol.

Since Shell's visit Jasper has been a different bird, in fact I'd swear Shell had swapped him over - only he still calls the doggies and greets himself - yep its still my Jasper just no bites in nearly 48hrs - I'm impressed lol, just wondering how long til I'm put to the test???

Jasper will lull you into a false sense of security Jen, then....owwwwwwwww!

Hiya again, I'm still being firm with what I ask him to do and so far so good, I am the flock leader yey lol , I just know I'm going to be tested sooner or later lol.

Shell, of course you can use my story, if your going to change names can Jasper be Jekyll....or is it Hyde... I get confused with which one is which lol. Have you not yet regretted saying that your at the end of the phone yet lol, the amount of texts sent your way sorrrrrrry - I prefer texts that way if people are busy, with the birdies, making tea, etc you can reply back when convenient lol.

Back to browsing the forum - I love it !!!!!
