Chester Zoo 6th October 2013- with photos!

Who's coming?

It's adopters day at the Zoo and Les and I usually go and hear the 'talk' on the amazons we adopted!  But even though we go, we still have stuff to do here and won't be there until after we are sorted here.....and then usually a couple of hours at the zoo maximum and then it's off home so we won't be there from dawn 'til dusk because we can't.

So......who's going?   And we could all meet up for a coffee somewhere because it's far too big to trail around with  everyone!

Prices are £20/£18 an adult with or without a donation
£15.50 or £14 for a child,
under 2's go free.

Do you know it's far cheaper to adopt an animal, than to pay to get in because you get tickets free!

Sorry but won't be able to come along,its such a long long way from here.  But have a great time and post up some  photos.

Yes I understand how far away it is Di......Chester Zoo is about the furthest we can get, it's about 30 mins away from us which is great.

I love chester zoo but we don't go very often because it ends up costing so much! I can't do this weekend, feeling the purse tightening this month, avas birthday september, flick October, lily november then christmas. Summer holidays finish and I resign myself that the next time I have a penny to rub together will be january!

Yes it can be quite expensive, as I said up there somewhere, if you like going to the zoo you can buy a yearly family pass, or adopt an animal and it works out so much cheaper that a daily pass. And you get discount on the cafe's and shops too!

Well we have been asked to go on telly again we don't have to much information yet but will let you no on Tuesday evening! It's a property show and the person has a vast amount of exotic birds and there maybe a need for a mass temporary safe housing of up to 40 birds so keep your mobiles switched on xxxx

  Spent 2 hours chopping cardboard and making holes in milk bottle tops and routing old bits and pieces from old toys out to thread onto coloured string to keep the gang happy whilst I'm away.  Sad isn't it, feeling guilty for leaving them to have a lovely time
