Parrot Day, 23rd November

Lol! I meant to ask when charles turned up! These two were so knackered, lola hasn't even had her evening screech, they've both had a really good day though as long as there's cuddles and noise the white things are happy. They we're particularly attentive to each other today, they are at home but not as much as they were at the gym. They were so close people didn't realise there was two birds lol. I think one of your girls got some pics of them margy, I think there's a few of you and them too. Margy nearly nicked the toos, sue nearly nicked dior

Dior was happy to watch the world go by, gorgeous....all the birdies were so good and gorgeous!

Yes Charles turned up with a bag full of shopping 5 mins later, so not too bad but hey? would you leave you phone on charge in a public building and your African grey and go shopping without telling anyone?? er no!

sue came back for coffee and Aries went out into the aviary and didn't want to come in! and Chloe the sennie was as good as gold, think all enjoyed themselves today!
I'm knackered though!

Thanks everyone for a wonderful day and the photos are a lovely reminder.  It was great to meet up with everyone and the birdies, well what can I say, all of them absolute stunners.  Yes, and it's true, I confess, I did threaten to put Dior in my handbag when Shell wasn't looking, but he told me he wanted to go home with his mum and dad  

And, thanks again to those wonderful kids, they were a delight to talk to as well as working so hard to earn the donation.

Kai Lani refused to come out of the cage this morning, she was having non of it!

It was lovely x surprised that bird was so good so hope he will be a show bird one day x missed tinks and poppy tho

Well, after doing a 'no show' yesterday on account of being 'on one', Kai Lani's lovely, sweet, precious and cuddly today.  She keeps saying 'Come on Aries, do you want to come and see Auntie Margy?' 

Yesterday morning she kept giving me that head on one side quizzical african grey stare as I dived round getting ready (normally I'm like a snail in the mornings).  When it was time to come out no cajoling whatsoever would entice her out, and anything near her got a good bite.  Her daddy made the grave mistake of shouting at her, he got an intensive bite for his efforts, served him right   After that she hung upside down feathers fluffed ready to kill.  How I love that bird, she's definitely got a mind of her own

Ah, that was really cute.  Aries is such a confident, steady little grey girl and Harley was so good (under Les' beady eye ), and Roxxi was so sweet, just watched whilst they made friends.  A day full of lovely memories.
